Virgin Beach has many names. Local people call it Perasi Beach while foreign tourists know this beach as White Sand Beach Bali. While it is called Virgin Beach because this Perasi Beach is still beautiful, calm, quiet and clean.
If you want to visit and do not know how to go, you can mention “The beach in the Perasi village of Karangasem” to the people you meet on the street. This is due to the many names and not necessarily the local people who know the same name.
The attraction of this hidden beach is that the sand is yellow, aka not black, and not white. This is still a mystery because all beaches in the Perasi area are all black sand.
Virgin Beach Perasi Karangasem is flanked by two hills namely Apen and Penggiang. The hill with green trees seems to be a natural painting whose beauty is a shame if not immortalized. Add to the exoticism of this hidden paradise.
The sea water is emerald green with quite calm waves. You can play water, swim to snorkel. You can also relax or bask in the hot sun.
Even though Virgin Beach Perasi is a new, it already has a variety of complete facilities such as Warung or stalls. The food and drinks that are sold are quite diverse and at low prices.
For water sports activities, you can rent snorkeling equipment at a cost of Rp. 25,000. For those who want to relax or sunbathe, you can rent a sun deck and umbrella for Rp. 15,000.
Or those of you who want to relax with a massage service can enjoy it at a cost of IDR 50,000 for 1 hour. In addition to the natural beauty that is presented, you will also find rows of fishermen’s jukung neatly lined up next to the local stalls.
Virgin Beach Perasi Karangasem is located at White Sand Beach, Perasi Village, Karangasem, Bali. If you come from Kuta, it will take you 2 hours to reach the beach location.
To be able to enter the beach area, you will be charged an entrance ticket of Rp. 10,000 per person and Rp. 2,000 parking for a motorbike while a car Rp. 5,000.
Virgin Beach Perasi is located quite close to various Candidasa attractions. One of the nearby attractions is Taman Ujung Karangasem, Tirta Gangga Water Palace and the ancient Balinese village of Tenganan.
From I Ngurah Rai or Kuta International Airport you have to head to Karangasem. After that head towards Candidasa. From here on your journey is quite tiring.
You will go up and winding roads. Then through narrow alleys, settlements of residents, arid streets until they reach their destination.
On every trip, you should pay attention to road signs. A sign that says “white sand beach” is what you must follow to get to Virgin Beach Perasi.
