Jembong Waterfall - First Man Made Waterfall in Bali

After you pass a rocky path about 200 meters, then to get to the waterfall there are two alternative paths, you can choose a smooth path or a stairway. To get to the main location of this waterfall you don’t need to spend a lot of extra energy and then you will be greeted by a charming and beautiful waterfall panorama.
The scent of the cool air and fresh water really makes you calm and comfortable. Jembong waterfall offers you beautiful views, there are plants growing around the Jembong waterfall.
Jembong Ambengan Waterfall is unique, where the waterfall is usually located on a high cliff with a flow of water that falls vertically. However, it is different from Jembong waterfall, where this waterfall is located on a sloping plain with a slope of more than 75 degrees.
Jembong Ambengan Waterfall has two levels, the first waterfall is about 15 meters high. The water does not fall freely but flows on the rocks and underneath there is a natural reservoir with a depth of about 1 meter.
The water is clear and crystal-clear feels so fresh. You can relax your body by soaking or swimming in the pool. In this area, a place to change clothes is provided, so those of you who have finished swimming don’t have to worry about changing clothes.
In addition, for those of you who want to relax, there is also a place to relax. A bale is provided where you can sit back while observing the scenery or want to gather and chat with your friends.
The nature that is served in the Jembong waterfall area is so beautiful. The air is so clean and far from pollution. For those of you who visit, make sure to keep clean by not littering. In every corner of this area a trash can has been provided, so you have to dispose of the trash in the place provided.
Jembong Waterfall is located in Ambengan Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency. The location of the waterfall with a parking area is about 200 meters away. Jembong waterfall is located on a hill, you need to walk it on foot. When you arrive at the security ticket post, you will not be given a benchmark price to pay for a ticket. You only need to make a generous donation.
To be able to go to Jembong Waterfall, this place is about 15 km from the Bedugul tourist area or about 65 km from Denpasar. If you depart from Denpasar, then direct your vehicle to Bedugul / Singaraja.
After passing Bedugul, you continue your journey towards Gitgit. About 4 km after the Gitgit waterfall, you will see a T-junction with a sharp bend to the left. After turning left, follow the road for as far as 4 km and you will find the location of the Jembong waterfall.
Best time to visit Jembong Waterfall
Jembong waterfall is an excellent place to visit at any time of year because the road is in good shape and the approach to the falls is safe. The falls will be more magnificent if you visit during or immediately after the rainy season.
Tips for visiting Jembong Waterfall
Secret waterfall — Jembong waterfall is not a well-known tourist destination. Foreign tourists are required to sign a visitor’s book at the entrance.
More popular with locals — Despite the fact that it was not crowded, there were a few local youngsters at the waterfall. Jembong appears to be more well-known among residents than among tourists at the moment!
Combine as a day trip — Like Gitgit waterfall, we don’t think seeing Jembong on its own is worth the effort. We recommend planning a day excursion to explore several waterfalls, as there are plenty to see in North Bali!
The waterfall isn’t ideal for swimming — Swimming is possible at Jembong waterfall, but if that’s what you’re want, we recommend Banyumala twin waterfall. The pool at the base of Jembong is small and shallow, thus there are far better places to swim in a waterfall in Bali.
