Tibumana Waterfall - A Spot to Enjoy Nature and Relaxation
Tibumana Waterfall is one of the hidden tourist spots in Bali. its existence in the rural area of Bangli, is still thick with lush shades of green trees. The existence of its location makes this tourist spot very comfortable to get rid of fatigue while on vacation.
Tibumana Waterfall Bangli Bali is unique from its shape which is like a twin waterfall. Because there are two streams of water that are located side by side. Even so, the waterfall with a height of 20 meters is not always the same. There are times when only one side forms the flow of the waterfall. This is due to the season factor.
Formerly this waterfall can be used as a place to swim or soak, but now it is not allowed. This regulation originates from the belief of local residents, that the pool area under the waterfall is often used as a non-slip beach. To respect this sacred area, tourists are prohibited from bathing.
A unique charm that is no less interesting to know is the cave between the two waterfalls. This cave is believed to be the road to Goa Raja Besakih Temple, although no truth has yet dared to reveal it until now.
Near the waterfall, you can see a large natural rock. Many of the tourists stand on the rock to take pictures in cool styles of meditation, yoga and so on. You can also take some beautiful pictures with the Tibumana Waterfall as a background in a unique style.
If you want to visit Tibumana Waterfall Bali, avoid coming during the peak holiday season because this place will be crowded with other visitors. Don’t forget to bring enough food, because there are not many sellers in the waterfall area.
Use comfortable clothes and footwear for trekking, because you will pass a lot of rocky and slippery roads. Cliffs around tourist sites can be said to be prone to landslides, so you have to be more careful. Other Charms
Well, there is another charm in this area. located between two waterfalls, namely a large gaping hole. This hole is a cave that is quite large which is said to be believed to be the road to Pura Goa Raja Besakih.
This story is believed over and over again. Although, there is no specific evidence that proves this place to be a road. Because, no one dared to enter this area and try to prove this story.
There is another belief that currently residents and visitors are not allowed to swim. Because of this pool area, it is often used as a place for nostalgic watering. To respect this you are prohibited from bathing here again.
This place is prone to landslides, therefore, you also have to be careful when you are here. don’t be careless, play around, to stay safe traveling here.

Tibumana Waterfall is located in the village of Apuan, Susut district, Bangli regency.
Its 45km from Denpasar Ngurah Rai International Airport, or just an hour drive from Ubud and two hours from Kuta.
Tibumana Waterfall Entrance Fee
There’s an entry fee of 10,000 IDR per person, and there is an additional cost of 5,000 IDR for parking. Lockers are available for 5,000 IDR.
And the payment should be cash in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), so please prepare small cash before you come here.
A change room is available if you’d like a swim, and a bamboo hut offers a shady rest spot.
Best Time to Visit Tibumana Waterfall
Although it is open for the majority of the day, we recommend visiting Tibumana Waterall early in the morning to avoid any potential crowds.
While this is one of the least visited waterfalls in Bali, it’s definitely best to arrive before 11 a.m., as that is when most local groups arrive.
Tibumana Waterfall is open to the public daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Except for Nyepi, a Balinese “Day of Silence.”
The walk to the waterfall winds through the rainforest, providing ample time to appreciate the diverse flora and fauna.
