The Itinerary
Jakarta - Istanbul
At the designated time and meeting point, gather at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to begin your journey to Turkey, with Istanbul as the first city.
Istanbul - Bursa
Upon arrival in the city of Istanbul, you will immediately continue your journey to the city of Bursa.
Bursa - Kusadasi
After breakfast, you will continue your journey to Kusadasi via the city of Bursa. You will visit a Turkish Delight Shop, Tophane Hill, the Ottoman Clock Tower, and the Osmanghazi & Orhangazi Tomb. Next, you will visit the Grand Mosque, the largest mosque in the city, followed by a visit to a Leather Jacket Shop. Continue the journey to Kusadasi and transfer to your hotel to rest.
Kusadasi - Izmir - Pamukkale
LOCAL EXP: SIRINCE VILLAGE & SIGACIK VILLAGE
Today's journey continues with a visit to Sirince Village, a countryside famous as a producer of the best wine and olive products, which can be found along the village roads. This village was once believed to be a "safe haven" during the 2012 doomsday phenomenon! Then, you will be invited to visit Sigacik Village, a coastal village in Izmir known as Turkey's "Slow City," focusing on sustainability and the preservation of its region.
*NOTE: This tour does NOT include visits to Ephesus and Hierapolis (Cotton Castle).
Pamukkale - Konya - Cappadocia
After breakfast, you will visit a Textile Factory Outlet. The journey then continues to Cappadocia via the city of Konya. Enjoy a brief photostop at the historic Sultanhani Caravanserai. Afterward, proceed to Cappadocia for dinner and an overnight stay.
Cappadocia
After breakfast, you may optionally join a Hot Air Balloon ride to enjoy the stunning landscapes of Cappadocia from above. The city tour continues with a visit to Cardak Underground City, a subterranean cave city once used as a hiding place. See the Three Beauties Fairy Chimneys and Uchisar Pigeon Valley. Then, visit a jewelry shop, a carpet shop, and the Avanos Pottery factory, where you can learn how ceramics are made. You may also join an optional Jeep Safari.
Cappadocia - Ankara - Bolu / Izmit
Today, you will travel to Ankara. Upon arrival, you will visit the Salt Lake for a photostop and to shop for unique items made from its rich salt content. You will also visit the Mausoleum of Atatürk, the grand resting place of Turkey's first president, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The journey continues to Bolu / Izmit for an overnight stay.
Bolu / Izmit - Istanbul
This morning, leave Bolu / Izmit and head back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Blue Mosque, known for its 6 minarets and blue-tiled walls, and the Hippodrome Square dating back to the Byzantine era. Enjoy photostops outside the Topkapi Palace, the symbol of the Ottoman Empire's glory, and Hagia Sophia, originally built as a church before functioning as a mosque. If time permits, visit the Grand Bazaar to shop for various local souvenirs (*Note: Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays*).
Istanbul - Jakarta
FREE BOSPHORUS CRUISE & LOCAL EXP: GALATAPORT
Today, you will join a Bosphorus Cruise to enjoy beautiful views of the Turkish cityscape from the Bosphorus Strait (*No refunds provided if the cruise is not operating*). Then, you will be transferred to Galataport, where you will have free time to relax and shop in the surrounding area. Afterward, visit Taksim Square for more shopping and leisure time before being transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
Arrival in Jakarta
